Ali is from Kansas City, MO where she graduated from the University of Missouri, Kansas City and studied marketing. After graduating college she moved to Chicago and worked in marketing for 5 years. It wasn't until she moved to the Bay Area a couple years ago she started her own design business and found her true love of Pilates. Ali says she immediately fell in love with the practice of Pilates and knew she wanted to be an instructor so she could share her love with the community. Ali went through the Club Pilates Teacher Training program and is now an apprentice with over 350 hours of Pilates education and practice. Ali has personally experienced several benefits from Pilates ranging from reduced stress, increased energy, improved posture and an all around more healthy and joyful life. Ali's passion for Pilates will be sure to shine through and her upbeat personality will leave you feeling motivated!
Audra’s journey is to live an active, healthy life. Calendar age does not matter, but what matters is to challenge the body and mind while maintaining fluid movements. As a trainer, she seeks to find balance with muscle groups by lengthening and strengthening. A focus on breathing techniques empowers the core to stabilize spinal movement and improve the body’s postural stance. Derrick is a certified Pilates instructor under Michael King Pilates Institute in London and a licensed Stotts Pilates and Barre certified instructor. He also specializes with pre and post Natal Pilates, Pilates for Golfers and Athletic Conditioning Program. He is a certified Gyrotonic instructor under Gyrotonic Expansion System and Yoga instructor (500 RYT). Derrick is also TRX Certified as a suspension and functional trainer. A Certified Bosu Trainer. In addition, he is a Les Mills Certified Body Balance and Body Pump Instructor. and licensed Zumba Fitness, Zumba Toning, Zumba Step and Strong by Zumba Instructor. He holds an MCT Triggerpoint certificate. and Personal Trainer and Group Exercise instructor under American Fitness Professional Associates (AFPA). He has over 2 decades experience in the dance and fitness industry. He was a former jazz /contemporary under Douglas Nierras Power Dance where he learned how important discipline and respect are to one's profession. Gina moved to San Diego to attend UCSD and ended up staying there for nearly 15 years! This is where she stumbled upon her first Pilates class back in 2009. She loved it and often jokes that she became addicted immediately. She practiced regularly from that point on, and after moving back to the Bay Area she decided it was time to finally start teaching (which is something she had been wanting to do for years). She has personally experienced the many benefits that Pilates has to offer, and she is absolutely thrilled to be sharing her knowledge with others who are also passionate about the practice. She was trained through Balance Body University in 2015. Malinda comes to us with over 2 decades of fitness experience. If she isn't teaching Pilates classes in Campbell, she's sharing her love of fitness with the community through various other group fitness classes. She enjoys spending time with her kids and dogs!
